To save childhood, protect the future, and slow the rise of insecurity in Haiti

The social insecurity crisis ravaging Haiti is not the result of chance.

It is the outcome of poor governance, deep social inequality, and the systemic abandonment of thousands of children who have no access to education, healthcare, or even the basic recreational activities essential to their well-being.

Today, this exclusion has driven many young people to join heavily armed groups, due to a lack of guidance, support, and opportunities.

In response to this alarming reality, the Good Samaritan Mission is launching an ambitious and essential humanitarian initiative:

to offer a comprehensive vision of social, economic, educational, and cultural assistance to street children and families living in extreme vulnerability.

Why act now?

Because children left without support become, against their will, a threat to their own future and to the country.

Because an abandoned child today may become a social danger tomorrow.

Because if we want to stop the spiral of violence, we must intervene at the root—where everything begins: childhood.

Haitian children have the right to a dignified life, to health, to education, to love, and to a future.

Yet every day, thousands of them survive in the streets, in severely impoverished families, or in conditions that undermine their human development. Many have no access to school, regular medical care, or cultural and social programs capable of nurturing their talents and protecting their future.

Faced with this silent emergency, we launch a solemn appeal to all people of goodwill, in Haiti, in the diaspora, and around the world.

Your contribution will help to:

Provide access to education and training activities;

Offer healthcare and psychological support;

Supply meals, clothing, and basic assistance to vulnerable children;

Create safe spaces for guidance, culture, and recreation;

Support struggling families so no child falls into the streets;

Prevent youth from joining armed groups by offering alternatives.
