Ultra Marathon Fundraiser for Lifewaters
Fiscaal aftrekbaar
Would you join us giving people with disabilities the opportunity to experience the joy and freedom of scuba diving?
Our Lifewaters volunteer, Mitesh Patel, has a team and is going to run an ultra marathon (50 miles!) on October 23rd to help fund the great work that Lifewaters is doing. The money raised is used to fund dive training for people with disabilities, training for support divers, and gear. Our goal is to make diving accessible (both physically and financially) to people with disabilities.
LifeWaters Scuba program is designed to help improve the lives of our disabled Veterans, first responders and civilians by offering discover scuba and scuba certifications through Scuba Diving International (SDI) (Scubility Program) as part of recreational water therapy. The program is run by dedicated staff volunteers to include SCI therapists, doctors, nurses, veterans and civilians who are passionate about helping any disabled participant learn scuba diving.
