Hello! We are an American expat family from Cincinnati, Ohio, living in Katowice, Poland, since July 2021. Our hearts are breaking as we watch the destruction in Ukraine due to the senseless war against them by Russia.
On March 6, we opened our home to house a lovely Ukrainian refugee family forced from their home in Kyiv. They arrived with very little, yet gifted us with delicious mandarin oranges and candy for our children. Mom Natalia and her 15-year-old twins, Alina and Yaroslav, are a beautiful family. Their husband/father stayed in Kyiv to fight for their country. UPDATE
- Natalia and the twins returned to Kyiv after nine weeks with us. We continue to stay in contact, and they know they can return to our home if they need to do so. We are now family.
With your support, we've been able to help 14 other families to date. Our Ukrainian humanitarian work was recently featured on Why Not Now
- Leveraging Technology for the Good of Humanity podcast with Amy Jo Martin.
Thank you for your trust and faith in us to #SupportUkraine in our small part of the world.
Peace and love from Poland,
Carson, Amy, Avery, and Parker
