My Grandson Logan was bit by a dog on Thursday October 19, 2017.

On Thursday at noon the family adopted a dog and at 5pm  the dog attacked Logan on his face and ear.

Logan was taken to Blanks Children Hospital in Des Moines via ambulance and due to the severity of the injuries Logan was taken by ambulance to University of Iowa Childrens Hospital for facial reconstructive surgery.

Due to the severity of his injuries Logan will have to make several return visits to Iowa City to see his team of doctors and possibly have further surgeries.

This is putting a toll on the family emotionally as well as financially. There is loss of pay, gas and food expenses and Logan will need therapy as he can not sleep due to nightmares. etc.
