Charlie’s Spinal Surgery

Hi, my name is Makayla and I am trying to raise funds for my brother, Nicholas’s dog Charlie. Charlie has been apart of our family for 7 years now, he loves to play, run, swim, and talk! We recently found out that he has an out of place disc that is compressing his spinal cord. This is a degenerative disease called Intervertebral Disc Disease. This is causing him to have weakness in his back legs, not being able to jump, go up or down stairs, he can’t run or walk too fast and he is constantly in pain. Once this disease progresses, he will have full paralysis in one or more legs, he will lose bowel and bladder control, and the pain will only increase as this disease progresses. This fundraiser is to help myself and Nicholas restore the quality of Charlie’s life by getting him spinal surgery so he will be able to do the things he loves and most importantly for him to be able to walk without pain.

These funds will go to the expenses of Charlie’s spinal surgery and CT scans.
