Recovery ministry

Hi, my name is Chris and I am a recovered addict, father, dad, son, brother, uncle, and a spouse, but above all I am a child of God! I am looking to raise funds to build an outdoor ministry for people in my area looking to get help for substance-abuse. I remember a time where I wanted help for my addiction, but did not feel comfortable due to all of the conviction, shame and guilt that I felt because of my problems, so I am looking to build an outdoor ministry where people who may have once felt the same way I did can come and receive the word of God,amongst his creation, in an environment that they may feel more comfortable in. I have spoken to a lot of men in the community where I live, about why they don’t go to church and most of them have the same response, they just don’t feel comfortable. The community in which I live in is a Rivertown. The best place to catch the majority of these men is in the outdoors. So I am looking for the funds to build a barge nothing huge just something to be able to move from boat ramp to boat ramp, preaching the gospel and inviting people to join us on our journey as we learn more about our creator and also how to walk in the new life we’ve been blessed with through our acceptance of Jesus Christ as our savior, and how to overcome the temptations of this world with his help to live in sobriety “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”
2 Corinthians 5:17 but often times we don’t know what that new life looks like or how to thrive in it we’ve never been here before. This is unfamiliar, uncharted territory for most of us when we start living in sobriety. So I am looking to , with your help, hopefully bring some restoration and sobriety through salvation, and building a relationship with Christ to the community where I live, and those surrounding. I am incredibly thankful for you taking the time just to read this message and beyond grateful to receive any blessing that may contribute to seeing this vision come to life and bare fruit. thank you for your time. I hope y’all have a wonderful day.
