Growing our Family

After many prayers, tears & fears, Justin & I feel we have clarity concerning our family’s future. After the many miscarriages & loss of our babies we knew if we were to have children we would have to adopt. I just could not bear the thought of getting pregnant and then burying my child again. WE investigated adoption agencies but the cost was to great. Another option available was fostering a child that could lead to adoption. After praying we felt GOD was in control & he would help us to build our family. Our 3rd round of fostering brought Skyler into our lives. I said if that was the only child GOD brought to us I would still rejoice. We still wanted to grow our family but knew it would be GOD’s decision. WE knew we would need bigger house if we were to get another child. Skyler had consumed ours with all his toys again GOD led us to our new home. Thinking we would have a while before another child would join our family we continued in settling in & decorating our new home. I should never start to get comfortable God loves to throw curveballs. Out of the blue we received a phone call asking us if we would be interested in adopting again. What? WE haven’t even put everything away yet. So we asked our friends & family to pray with us.

 In less than 24 hours we were asked to foster a 5 year old. We immediately agreed to the fostering but were unsure of where GOD was taking us with adoption. After a long weekend we decided that we will go through the door GOD opens for us. The adoption will be a baby due to make its entry to the world and the Kruse family shortly after the first of the year.

This will be a private adoption where both the birth mother & father came to us asking us to raise their child as we have Skylar.

WE are humbled by their generosity. We pray for them & the decision they made it was not an easy one and we are so blessed because of them.

Since this is a private adoption the expenses will be more than what it would be through fostering so we have been advised by some of our family & friends to start a GOFUNDME page so they can help us raise the funds we will need quickly (our first appointment with lawyer s in 2 weeks). We will also try some other fundraisers that friends have suggested I will keep you posted. 

Thank you again for your prayers and we ask you to continue as we have so much to do in a very short time. We ask you to pray for the birth mother that she will have an easy pregnancy and delivery. For the birth father as he takes care of mother & child. Prayers for the baby she is carrying. Pray for us as we prepare for the arrival of the newest Kruse family member. Pray for Skylar as we prepare him for the arrival of his new baby brother or sister
