Chuck's Medical/Family ExpenseFund

Chuck Stevenson is currently receiving six weeks of radiation and chemo treatment for brain cancer at Emory University Hospital.  He had surgery at Emory on December 11, 2017, to remove a brain tumor.   He was  diagnosed with Anaplastic Oligodendroglioma, Stage III.  Chuck is 35 years old and has been married to his wife, Laurie since 2006.  They have two sons, Connor and Logan, age 9 and 6.  Chuck is an employee of the City of Warner Robins.  They live in Warner Robins, Georgia.  Laurie has been by his side since the day he was transported to Emory, but her paid leave has long been exhausted.  Her unpaid FMLA leave will expire before the treatment is finished.  When Chuck was asked early on what he needed most, he said to keep food on the table and a roof over their heads.  They now have the added expense of travel each week to Emory in Atlanta and food while there.  They were blessed to get free lodging through Emory at the Hope Lodge to offset some of their expenses.  Chuck has medical insurance through work, but not an additional cancer insurance policy, so there is an undetermined, but substantial amount of non-covered medical expenses, co-pays, prescriptions, etc.   Chuck had a seizure while driving in January, so Laurie has to drive him to/from all his medical appointments.  They will reach four months without her salary in March.  Chuck and Laurie will be very appreciative of anything you are able to give.   This page has not been set up without much prayer and consideration.  Your thoughts and prayers are also much appreciated.
