School Aid Romania 2025

Hi, my name is Sofia and I am a student at Methodist College Belfast and in January 2025 I will be going to Romania for a week, along with 19 of my peers, to provide vital care and aid to people living in extreme poverty in Brasov, Romania. Methody has been involved with the charity, School Aid Romania, for many years, a charity which aims to uplift the lives of and support many people involved with the programme, from young to old. I have been fortunate enough to have been selected for this team which will hopefully provide impactful, life-changing support and your help to raise my fund would be invaluable. During this time we will spend in Romania, we will visit orphanages, an abandoned baby unit, schools and homes for the elderly and deliver food parcels to the Comona De Jus village, and the funds we aim to raise will allow us to buy essentials including food, clothes, toiletries, toys and more. In order to provide this support I need to raise a minimum of £1000, as do the rest of the team, and any donation would be immensely helpful and vital to providing the support we greatly hope to contribute during our time in Romania.
