Hi my name is Ray and I'm a genderqueer individual getting top surgery in January. I'm trying to raise money for my surgery because my surgeon does not accept insurance.
I live in Denver, CO where I've served two AmeriCorps terms with Habitat for Humanity and am pursing my degree in women's studies and human services. Being a full-time student on an AmeriCorps salary means I will be unable to pay this expense out of pocket.
Top surgery is something I've dreamed of since I can remember. This surgery will finally allow me to be free. No more binding, no more sports bras--instead the feeling of a shirt against my chest.
