Get Thomas Healthy!

Thomas is the happiest, cheekiest, funniest little boy who loves playing with his friends and family.

Thomas was born with a chromosome condition which leaves his future unknown. He has Global Developmental delay, meaning he is behind on all milestones for his age. He also has Hypo Sensory Processing Disorder which means he needs more sensory input than that of a neuro typical child. Thomas is also pre-verbal so isn’t able to talk, but LOVES blowing raspberry’s!

Thomas’ biggest delay is in his physical mobility. At 4 years old he is unable to stand unaided, and therefore cannot walk. Part of Thomas' condition gives him Hypermobility and low muscle tone which means he requires specialist physio treatment.

We have been working with an NHS physio for the last few years, however Thomas now requires a specialist physio treatment which includes an intense block of therapy over a few weeks. The specialist treatment that he requires is down in London - the opposite side of the country to where we live! You also cannot get this treatment on the NHS so we have no choice but to pay out of pocket.

We really hope that if you are able to, then you can help us reach our target to give Thomas the opportunity to recieve this treatment which ultimately will give him the gift of walking. Something which most of us take for granted. He will finally be able to play in a park, go and chose a toy on the shelf at home, or even walk around his house for the first time.
