Supporting my son & wife's dream
Spende geschützt
Hi, I'm the dad, you can call me Bud (my real name)
I have never ask for help in my life, but this is different. You see it's not for me.
It's for my son Mike and his wife Rochelle. After living in a 1 bd room apartment for some time, they saved enough for a down payment on their dream, a farm house with the possibilty of historic realism.
After many inspections and rezoning problems they were granted a mortgage. Dream come true....not really.
After closing they moved in only to find the water well was insufficent to produce clean water and not flagged on a inspection. (Ran dry 1 day after moving in) So they contracted to drill a new well. The original was 75 ft. their new one is 225 ft with a new filtration system at a cost of $40,000. need less to say they are way over budget but at least now they can shower at their own home. Now they can try to start remodeling this 140 year old farm.....only another problem arises...they have abestos insulation in the actic, a major health problem. The remodeling has stopped and may never be finished. Their goal was to turn this propety back into the glory of days gone by.
The money will be used to remove the asbestos and any hazardous material that can cause serious health problems for their family (furbabies) and any visitors. The removal will cost 9,000 to 10,000 dollars. Any amount that you can offer would be greatly appreciated. They can use all the help they can get. Thank you!!
