Ridgefield Restaurant Worker’s COVID-19 Fund

UPDATE: Thank you to everyone that donated to the Ridgefield Restaurant Worker’s COVID-19 Fund. In just three weeks we almost doubled our $6,000 goal. My brother and I plan on closing the fund tomorrow night, April 7th, and distributing the funds as soon as it’s safe to do so. For those of you who specified which restaurant/server you want the donation to go to, we will make sure it gets there. For the rest of the funds, we will distribute the money evenly between about 30 restaurants in town that typically have table service. Ridgefield, you’re amazing! ORIGINAL: Our restaurant workers are hurting. Let’s help them outlast COVID. For the next 3 weeks, please consider donating whatever you would have spent at Ridgefield restaurants IN TIPS (not the full bill). Indicate which restaurant (or server if you have a favorite) you want your tip(s) to go to, and I will distribute them at the end of the campaign. Hopefully, by then, we’ll all be back at our favorite restaurants and supporting our favorite servers the way they really want to be supported … by serving us all!
