Hi friends and family!! First of all I want to say thank you for all the nice words I received after I heard about getting my internship in Uganda! I was overwhelmed by all of the love and support!!
For those of you who don't know, I got an internship in Uganda for the summer. I will be working with an organization named MEMPROW, which helps young women throughout the country to access in health care, and just overall advancement of women's rights. I will specifically be working with girls who have been kicked out of school.
I am hoping to help fund a portion of my trip with the help of all you! This money will help me to buy a plane ticket, which is about $1,500. If you can give any amount, big or small, I would be endlessly greatful! I am hoping to raise the money in 1 month, so that I will have plenty of time to buy my plane ticket, before it gets too expensive! Thank you all for all of your support, I can't wait for this amazing experience!
