Help Heal Victoria's Hips!

I have had 5 hip surgeries in the past 5 years due to a fairly rare genetic condition, and I am asking for your help to cover medical bills for my final hip surgery (this will approximate $15,000 total) which will allow me to walk without pain and continue my life as a young women should be allowed.

Even after these unsuccessful surgeries, it is still painful to stand and walk. My most recent surgery, on my left hip in June of 2012, has reduced my pain and increased mobility in addition to range of motion; that still leaves the hip yet to be fixed, my right, with an extremely sore and non-functional hip joint.  I have been forced to take a leave of absence from school, which puts me another year further away from starting a job in my field.

In order to have a functional lifestyle it is required that I have surgery performed on my right hip in September 2012.  We hope this will be the last surgery for a very long time, but financially it is difficult to cover.  Although I have some health insurance, this policy will not cover all of the procedures that I may need done in surgery. It is nearing impossible to pay for all of the medical bills that I will be expecting since I am unable to work and am still in debt from school and past surgeries.

My condition has forced me to see a surgeon specializing in hip preservation techniques in the United States.  Given that I am living in Canada (but going to school in the United States) this requires me to have to pay for flights across the country, accommodations, rental car, etc.   These costs along with physical therapy, post-op devices, operation fees, results in an amount that is not practical for a student who is unemployable due to the very condition I am seeking to fix.

I am asking for your help; I would be forever grateful if you would be willing to donate to the funds that I am trying to raise in order to make this next surgery and its recovery a success. Having this surgery will allow me to get my life back on track, but I cannot do it without your assistance. Every dollar counts!  I truly appreciate your help!!!!!!
