TURKEY EARTHQUAKE RELIEF FUND -TACA CHICAGO

We are devastated by the recent earthquake in Turkey along with the rest of the world. As a Chicago-based Turkish American not-for-profit, we are looking to support those in need in Turkey by encouraging cash donations to complement our local efforts.

AHBAP is a non-profit organization in Turkey that facilitates aid to those in need following natural disasters by providing shelter, food and medical supplies. For details on the group and their work (including community support) visit: www.ahbap.org

The cities we are targeting in this relief effort are: Kahramanmaras, Hatay, Antakya, Malatya, and Gaziantep in southeastern Turkey. We will collect funds and forward to AHBAP, (which stands for "friend") based in Istanbul and led by Haluk Levent. Donations will be sent on a monthly basis until funds are no longer incoming.
