--- 2020 UPDATE ---

Thanks to the support of the Franciscan Capuchins who have contributed offline, we have reached our target and now able to offer the exhibit to Cathedrals! Any additional contributions given in 2020 will help support the rest of our work!

--- 2020 UPDATE ---

‘Christus Vivit’ – Christ is Alive!

Pope Francis calls on young people to live: to make a ruckus trying to convince older generations to make space for them, support them and empower them.

‘Christus Vivit’ is a rich document from Pope Francis that demonstrates just this: Christ is alive and at work in the lives of young people and young adults.

We want to hold a touring exhibition to amplify the Pope’s message and reach people who wouldn’t normally encounter it.

We need your help to do this.

In Christus Vivit Pope Francis tells us about twelve young saints who have “devoted their lives to Christ” and in their short lives been “real prophets of change” (Christus Vivit #49). We have combined these stories with profiles created by young Catholic artist, JP De Quay, and want to offer them as an exhibit to Cathedrals and other high traffic city centre Churches in England and Wales.

We have an invitation to display the exhibit in Salford Cathedral, but need to cover some of the exhibit costs before we’re able to offer it more widely.

It’ll cost £3900 to put on the exhibition – including the art work, design, printing of two sets of the exhibits 15 A2 boards, stands, transport cases and transport to 14 sites.

The Young Saints Exhibit is one part of Synod Fruits, a project run by young adults that’s trying to help the whole Church engage with the Christus Vivit and the whole 2018 Synod on Youth process. If you’re not able to help us with the exhibit, please keep our project in your prayers!
