TSC Mini Marathon

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

I will be running the TSC Mini Marathon on Saturday 20th April as part of Newnham Junior School. I will be running the last mile of the Marathon and will finish my run at the iconic London Marathon finishing line.

For those of you who don’t know, my best friend, my Uncle Gaz, ran the London Marathon in October 2022 (obviously he wants it to be known he was on course to finish within the 4 hours!) but for reasons beyond his control, was taken seriously ill, coincidently at the place I will be starting my race (1 mile from the finish line). Gaz was very sick and was in a coma for 6 days but with the amazing help and support of Guys and St Thomas’s Hospital, was able to come home to us a couple of weeks later. As well as raising money for my school, I am hoping to raise some money, as a way to give back to the amazing doctors and nurse’s at the hospital that gave me my Uncle Gaz back.

Gaz came out of hospital 4 days before my birthday and that was the best birthday present I could have wished for. I’ve been running with my Grandad preparing for it and I’m hoping to raise some extra money to say thank you.

I will be running the last mile for Gaz who unfortunately wasn’t able to finish. Thank you for your support.
