Trying to help homeless guy in Cary

This is my friend, Dale.  He’s had a hard life through no fault of his own - being abused by his father as a boy, working for the Division of Corrections in communications for nearly 20 years, caring for his very ill mother before she died, homeless now, surviving on $657/mo in social security; his 2005 vehicle (his home) needs about $1500 in repairs (water heater, water pump and steering wheel pump, for starters).  I’m willing to donate $300 for this project; but that’s not enough and though I’ve never done this before, I thought that we (my friends and fellow human beings) could maybe give up the cost of one coffee to help my friend out...
