Troy Pitcher - ATV accident

Troy Pitcher was involved in a horrific ATV accident on Sunday morning of March 24th of 2019. He was transferred to Denver Health and was admitted into the trauma one in the SICU. Troy is being treated for a fractured skull in the front and back of his head. There was two different brain bleeds as well as brain fluid leaking into his nasal passage. He has two breaks in his neck as well as seven different breaks in his back. He has a broken chin, hip, and pelvic, and a broken rib. The broken rib did puncher his lung which resulted in a half deflated lung. Troy is still unable to breath on his own so the doctors did place in a trac. His jaw bone is completely shattered and they will try to save what they can, but if it fails the doctors will be placing a bone graft in. His jaw his wired shut and is on a liquid diet. Troy is currently 41 years old and has 5 children. He got married in 2006 to his wife Tonya Pitcher. Troy will be going through many more surgeries as well as being transferred to a rehab home to learn how to walk again.
