New Troop 65 Trailer & Equipment

Boy Scout Troop 65, chartered by St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Longmont, Colorado, has a rich history of developing our Scouts to be good citizens and leaders that follow the Scout Oath and Law as their moral compass.

Saturday, February 3, 2018, serves as our official 85th anniversary for our Troop and we are proud to celebrate with our parish, Scouts, leaders, parents, the business community, and alumni at our dinner.

In celebration of our anniversary, we are working towards our goal of raising $5,500 to replace our 20-year-old Troop trailer and associated gear (Tents, stoves, hardware). We have an initial generous pledge of $900 from the Knakes and Troop 65 has agreed to pitch in another $400!

In addition, Susan Pratt, longtime Longmont resident, and commercial developer has agreed to match any funds (above and beyond our initial $1300) up to $2,000! Mrs. Pratt helped sponsor our Troop trailer back in 1998 and would like to help with our new trailer. We only need to raise another $2200 to hit our match and reach our $5,500 goal!

Please help us replace our aging Troop trailer and equipment so we can continue the work of helping our Scouts be productive members of our community.

85 years of service, thousands of Scout alumni, 105 Eagles, countless volunteers and parents.....WE ARE TROOP 65!

Thank you,

Josh Atherton/Steve Walsh
