Troop 850's Stolen Trailer Fund

This morning our brand new boy scout troop trailer with all of our camping gear, cooking gear, troop equipment and firewood was stolen, along with our scoutmaster's truck that it was attached to. We were planning to head out to Death Valley National Park this morning for our family camp. Anything will help as we will need to replace all of it.

Serving the cities of Villa Park, Orange, Anaheim Hills, and other surrounding communities, this troop has been continuously chartered since 1965, and has a most impressive history. There is a clear emphasis on leadership development through the troop’s annual leadership management seminar as well as numerous youth-lead program activities held throughout the year. This troop holds a very active scouting program with troop meetings, campouts, backpacks, day events, summer camp, high adventure excursions, and other activities that significantly benefit the boys as they develop into young men.

The troop has an excellent track record of cultivating quality Eagle Scouts and greatly surpasses the national average for those attaining this coveted award. Maintaining a focus on preparing young men to become responsible, participating citizens and leaders who are guided by the Scout Oath and Law is a continual focus of this exceptional troop.
