Trish Radtke's cancer, medical and stair lift fund

Valentine's Day was less than lovely.  My mother spent the whole night into the morning in horrible pain. My father called me in the morning telling me that my mother wanted me to come over. There was a strange sound in the background. I asked him "what is the sound." He told me that's your mother. When I got to my mother she couldn't take the pain no longer. I called for an ambulance to rush her to the hospital. When the doctors took her for an x-ray they found out she blew a 3cm hole in her stomach. She needed surgery right away to close the hole and remove all the fluids from the area that was slowly poisoning her. The doctors told her she has 6 months to live. Her body is riddled with cancer. This is after a long 10+ years living with breast cancer. Then after hearing this news she had to spend the next 3 days in ICU and the another 7 days in the hospital. After a long 10 days with my mother in the hospital recovering from the surgery and secondary surgery ,she was finally able to come home to her soul mate of 48 years and emotional support dog Heidi to live out her finally months.
 
They live on a second floor rendering impossible to get in and out without a stair lift.  Her husband has MS so doesn't have the leg or arm straight to move her around. I have been helping them around the clock. 


I have been out of work since March of 2020. My department at U.S. Bank closed just as Covid started. So, sadly I'm unable to help with costs.


Given they have a limited income and only Medical Original plan.....they can not see their way to setting up a stair lift nor the medication that a cancer specialist suggests to only possibly heal the stomach hole. My father is going to lose his soul mate and life partner. My brother will also be without his adoring and loving mother. I'm going to lose my best friend. 


Our family is reluctantly asking for your help,. They are of proud people. If you could please donate to help my parents with these unforeseen costs of medical bills, medications and very much needed stair lift. At this time we got a quote that the stair lift will cost about $4900. We don't know the cost of the hospital or surgery will be. So, in short any amount will be greatly appreciated.
