Tri-Cities Environment Debate 2019 will be a debate between federal candidates from the electoral districts of Coquitlam-Port Coquitlam and Port Moody Coquitlam. The debate is being organized by a multi-partisan committee. The debate will be held on October 9, 2019, and is affiliated with the 100 Debates event.
The committee is open to participation by anyone from the community. Our goal is to create a debate that is fair to all parties and candidates so that different views on this important issue can be discussed.
The venue for the debates will be provided free of charge by Douglas College - Coquitlam campus. We are fundraising for the purpose of funding posters, fliers, etc. and other ways of spreading the message.
Our goal is $300 to cover printing costs, etc. Please help us bring this important discussion to the forefront!
