TriAdventure Race Timing Clock

TriAdventure will be hosting 8 local races in 2014. From cycling
to running to triathlon to obstacle course races there will be something for
everyone. These events are all right here in the New River Valley, making it more
convenient and less expensive to participate.
From the ever-popular Mountains Of Misery with 600 people, to the new, but soon to be a smash, Hell Climb 10K, TriAdventure events are safe, fun and challenging. Every event is first-class!
Last year, with the help of many of our team members, supporters and participants, we were able to raise $2000 to purchase a finish line arch. The arch is bright orange and beautiful. We are very proud of our arch, our team and our events.
2014 finds us without a finish line clock. We have borrowed one in the past, but this is no longer possible as the clock we have borrowed is broken. Yes, we can time our events without a clock, but no racer likes to cross the finish line and not know their time. How can you sprint to get under your goal time if you don't know how much longer you have to make it?
So again, we are asking for your help. We hope to purchase a clock before the Hell Climb 10K in April and will then be able to use it for all of our events. Surprisingly, timing clocks are expensive. We estimate the price of a clock, and hopefully a generator to go with it, to be around $3000. We can purchase one that would be less expensive, but would like to have one easier for the athletes to see, and one with a case and a tripod to mount it on.
We are asking for a $25 donation, but whatever you give will be very much appreciated. Anyone donating $25 - $99 dollars will receive a special, yet to be determined, TriAdventure custom orange surprise! If you donate $100 or more, we will give you a free entry into the race of your choice (as long as the race is a TriAdventure event).
