Treats for Epsom General Hospital ICU staff

Last year when the first lock down was announced the whole country pulled together and raised so much money and PPE for our hospitals including our community for Epsom and St Helier. Staff at the hospitals were overwhelmed and so appreciative.
This time things seem much more different, the pandemic is worse than before and our NHS is suffering, so many Dr's, Nurses and NHS staff are falling ill with Covid this putting more work on others, some having to work 24/7 without a break.
Having spoken to staff at Epsom General Hospital I was upset to learn that staff working on ICU, once gowned up they are not allowed to leave their station until home time. the canteen at EGH is free for staff but ICU staff are not able to benefit from this. Once staff have finished work they just want to go straight home and on an empty stomach.
The last lock down people were so generous and sent meals, sweets, chocolate, drinks etc to ICU and it kept the staff going but this time is totally different, they are not getting anything.
Whilst I sat at home eating a cooked dinner and enjoying the company of my husband I reminded myself what was happening at the hospital.
I thought how could I help?
I have done my research and ICU at Epsom Hospital are allowed to accept food, drinks etc from outside and when I said what my intentions were the change in their voice from sadness to happiness made me realise that I need to do this.
I am going to start by making sandwiches, cakes etc and deliver them at least twice a week.
I have had people wishing to donate homemade sweets, fudge, cakes, curries, bread, fillings which is fantastic.
Some have messaged me saying that they are unable to get out but would like to donate some money, this is why I have set up the fund.
Money that we raise will go towards making the food, packaging, drinks etc and any money left after all this will be given straight to ICU in Epsom Hospital.
It doesn't matter how small or large your donation is as every little helps.
