Travis was injured at work on August 22nd when an electrical panel he was working on exploded. He received flash burns to 11% of his body. He has spent the last two weeks at the University of Utah Burn Center. He will be released from the hospital shortly but will have weekly follow ups for quite sometime. It will be a round trip of around 340 miles for them to come down from Idaho. He will be unable to work during his recovery time.
Since he was at work during the accident eventually worker's comp insurance will cover some of the expense but not all. But insurance claims take time and can take years to resolve.
Travis and his wife Trina are some of the most giving people I know. They are always going out of their way to help others. Unfortunately, now is a time in their lives that they could use the help that they always so freely give of themselves.
