Hi! My name is Ruth Marie Abell and I am adopting a eight year-old girl from China. Her name is Rosie.
My story is a little different. I lived in China for 5 years working with orphans. That's where I met Rosie. I fell in love with her, and I am trying hard to adopt her and bring her home for good. Rosie was born with a cyst in her brain which has caused her to have a lot of needs. She is missing a fourth of her brain, has epilepsy, and there are a lot of unknowns... but she is my daughter, and so I will do whatever I can to bring her home to get her the help that she needs.
Despite all of Rosie's needs, she is a very loving child and she has come a long way. She is doing things today that people said she would never do! I know that when I get her home, she will have the opportunity to take off and reach her full potential.
Right now I am trying to raise the funds I need for traveling to China to adopt Rosie. I would love for you to join me in bringing Rosie home. Will you help?
