Transport for Ukrainians to their new homes

We run a Facebook group "Transport a sister", which from the very beginning of the war was aimed at helping Ukrainians to reach their new homes around the world. We started by mostly informing about all free transports we knew of, and we are in constant contact with many volunteers who are still organizing further transports from Poland. Unfortunately, it is not possible to get everywhere for free. Therefore, the goal of our group is also to raise money for airline or bus tickets for Ukrainian families to places where, it is not possible to find free transport or there is simply no such thing. At the moment, these are mainly tickets to Canada.

How does our group work?

We help mostly on our facebook group: Transport a Sister .

For each family in need, we make a separate post, where we describe their story and where they are going to, as well as how much is the ticket for which we collect the money. You can help us in three ways:

1. You can donate money, as little as you like, writing for which family you want this donation to go for or just donate in general.

2. If you would like to make it more personal and you can cover the full price, you can directly book the ticket or accomodation for a particular family. For that, get in touch with us by facebook, and we will contact you with the person you will help to, and send you information you need to make a reservation.

If you have airline "miles" that you can spent purchasing a ticket, it is also very much appreciated

3. You can share this fundraise with other people

We have helped many families so far. We have bought hundreds, if not thousands, of flights or bus tickets.
