Tragic Death of John Jang

On January 18th, 2021,  my father, John Jang, was working at his store, Food Zone, when he had his life suddenly and tragically taken from him. During an armed robbery, he suffered gun shot wounds before he sadly passed on. We are still in shock and disbelief at this traumatic loss of someone so important and wonderful. My father worked 10 to 14 hour days, 7 days a week, to provide for his family. After sacrificing so much to provide for us, our hearts are breaking for him to pass so tragically without anyone at his side.

Since his sudden passing, it has been difficult for us to afford the funeral, legal, educational, counseling, and future living expenses. In order to help us get through this transition, we have set up this GoFundMe. For anyone who is willing and able, any contribution would mean so much in these devastating and challenging times.

John was a husband, father, son, brother, and a loved member of the community. Many who visited his store have fond memories of their time there. We are extremely grateful for all the love and support friends and family have shown us.
