Mylies campaign for Haig Housing Trust

Tax deductible

Hi my name is Mylie Roberts. I am 8 year 's old and go to Beamount Primary School in Warrington.  And have had a great idea for raising fund's for Veteran's ex Force's.
A few week's ago my Mum  and Dad and me was in Liverpool and seen an homeless man as we got nearer to him he had a sign in front of him saying ex army his army number and homeless. I couldn’t understand why someone had served our country and then have nowhere to live. When we got home I was quite sad and upset thinking of the ex soldier on the street's in the wet and cold. I asked my parent's if after my next appointment in Liverpool could we go to see the soilder again.
This time I spoke to him his name is Jamie and was in the army for 10 yrs. My Mum helped me get advice on how to help Jamie. It was thru an Army mum in my area. I
wanted too help homeless Veteran's, but in our area there is no section made up for homeless Veteran's as such, there are thing's in place for homeless but nothing in particular.
So after my Mum and Me got advice we was told about,
Haigh Housing, which is a UK based housing association for Veteran's and there familie's.
They have house's up and down the Country.
So that is my plan too raise fund's for them.
We do have a section of Haigh House's in my town.
My Mum helped me get a letter from school and Haigh Housing to confirm i'm okay to plan my idea to raise fund's.
I came up with the idea too do a none uniform day at school, but it will be a ' Black and Red ' day.
So we all wear the same colour's.
Each child give's a pound as well as people donating to this page.
My Mum will put it online for people to share along with the support and help from the local Army Mum.
I have attatched a picture of my 2 letter's to show you i have permission to do this fund raising.
Please Support and Share the link i'd like to raise as much as i can.
Thank You for taking the time too read and hopefully donate.
