Tracey family miracle on Christmas

I saw this story on Hvcc.com and broke me down.

Every year I choose a family to help out at the holiday season. After seeing this video I said I must help.

I ask you to please take only 5 minutes out of your busy day to watch this video. PLEASE. The story will say it all.

Their is another gofund account which I have nothing to do with, My goal is to raise money and have a check presented to them on xmas eve. I do not know the family, never met them, never talked to them etc. This fund in my mind will make their holiday and hopefully buy presents or help with care.

It it home because they are local to me and I have kids. Who would ever thought that kids would have to step up and help their parents at such a young age.

At first I was going to only ask local businessses and friends but now I want this to hit over all our country and help.

For people who are my customers and friends that are local, I have set up a drop christmas boxes at my two stores, Castaldo's Route 9 deli in Wappingers Falls NY and Route 9 Discount beverages in Poughkeepsie NY. They are both on Route 9. I want to make myself very clear, I am NOT trying to promote my businesses and was very resistant to add my locations as a drop off spot. I was in contact with many local people and also someone from HVNN.com (local Tv station) and they all agreed that I should make that a drop off location. I even told Hvnn that I do not want to be on Tv etc but they think it will be a great story on Xmas (and I believe it came from the heart, not just trying to get a story).

For the people who I am friends with or who know me, please grant me my xmas wish...to watch this story and help donate. For the ones who I do not know, please help me make my goal. I will make this happen and I will make this happen in a short peiord of time but not with your help. Even if you can not donate could you please help share this. A neighbor, friend or a relative. PLEASE!

Last but not least I know for all it is tight on xmas and the holidays. The way I look at it is that if I got $1.00 from 20,000 people, get my point :) Maybe companies can help out. I can not save the world and I know their are many people out there who need help but I am only one person. This year this is the family I choose. It could of happen to us. 

All funds will be deposited into Rhinebeckbank (my local bank) and all funds will be accounted for. I will be more than happy to show proof of check written and presented.
