A Timpani for TR Paul Academy

The TR Paul Foundation serves TR Paul Academy of Arts and Knowledge, an arts infused free public charter school in Fort Collins, Co. We serve kids from Preschool through 5th grade. We are the only public school in the area that offers band for elementary students. In the past three years we have grown our band from about 6 to 26 students. We have raised funds to purchase instruments to be used as loaners for those who can not afford them and have had some success with families donating either instruments or funds, but our dream instrument this year is a Timpani and this is just a bit above and beyond what our community can do on it's own.

We have a wonderful relationship with Boomer Music Company in Fort Collins. They support us in many ways by allowing us to perform at their shop to offering discounts on instruments and providing instruments for demo nights. Boomer Music Company obtained a set of used timpani and they contacted us right away to see if we were interested as they know this is a wish list item. We have raised half the money in fundraisers but need to raise the rest before the end of the year.

Please consider a donation to make our holiday wish come true. It's a great way to support our school and music at the elementary level and if you donate by Dec 31, 2014 you can apply your donation to your 2014 taxes.
