Wayne and Niki Townsend's son Brandon was recently diagnosed with Burkitt's Lymphona, it is a rare and aggressive form of Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. Brandon will be staying at the Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, MO. Brandon now has a port installed and has started chemo. He will be in the hospital for 7-10 days, return home for two weeks then repeat.
Brandon is an amazing child with such a positive attitude about his situation; his mom and dad are extemely proud of him. The family is very thankful for the thoughts and prayers from everyone. We want to help in everyway possible, not only in spirit but also in cost.
