Touch a life is a charity that has been created by a wonderful lady named Mavis. She is not only positively impacting the life of hundreds of families and kids leaving in the slums of Siem Reap; she is also touching the life of the volunteers through her genuine heart, kindness and care.
I have been honored to spend a few days at her home where she cooks meals for up to 700 hundred kids several times a week, offering families food but also dignity, recognition and courage.
Her support to the families depends greatly on donations as well as volunteers - with the current crisis the world is going through, less support is coming in which is directly impacting the life of the most vulnerable. Touch a life is one of the best charity you could support as your effort goes straight to the ones in need.
And if you ever happen to travel to Cambodia, go volunteer for a day or two, you will not regret it ! The passion of Mavis will reach to you, the kindness of the kids will touch you and a strong sense of commitment will spread within you.
