Tornado Relief for Kirkwood Families

As many of you know, a tornado touched down in Coralville, IA and caused severe damage to the homes of many Kirkwood families. Their homes are not livable right now. They are not in need of clothing, food, etc right now but we know they will need financial support in the future as they move back into their homes or find new homes.

The Kirkwood PTO are asking for donations to support 8-10 adults and 16-20 children. This will be used for anticipated needs of housing and basic needs. We will work with the families individually to ensure that these funds go directly towards meeting their needs! 

Corey Washpun, a member of the Kirkwood PTO, will be handling bank transfers on behalf of the school PTO. Corey will deliver funds to the school PTO vía official check. From there, funds will be dispersed via check to impacted families on an amount per-household member basis.
