Tom's Medical Fund for Cancer Treatment
Spende geschützt
Hey friends. As you know, our friend, Tom Jarrett, has been diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic colon cancer. It has taken a toll on his body pretty rapidly. His first chemotherapy treatment was December 10, and he will continue to need chemo for the rest of his life.
Tom has it in him to fight this as much as possible. However, treating this type of aggressive cancer will financially add up quickly. Colorectal cancer has the second highest cost of any cancer in the United States. Average health care spending for patients with newly diagnosed colorectal cancer ranges from $40,000 to $80,000, depending on the stage. We know insurance will help greatly, but there will also be a lot to pay out of pocket, especially during this first year.
Anything you can contribute will help ease Tom's mind and is greatly appreciated. If there are any excess funds after paying for medical expenses, we will donate to the American Cancer Society. Thank you for all the support and prayers, friends.
