Tom's accessible van

I mentor robotics teams with a high school. I provide support for people with MS and other physical disabilities. I am active with my church. I use a mobility scooter. In order to get to places where I do my community service, which is usually not during business hours, I need an accessible van. My current van is over 18 years old, and rusting badly at the bottom. (An eleven year old van normally goes for $20k, PLUS about $5k in modifications) It's just a matter of time before I find myself sitting in the middle of an Interstate highway without a car around me. Because of my disability, I no longer can work, and have no money for a new vehicle, and no way to repay a loan. The real beneficiaries of this are the people I can help because I can get there. Helping others is very important, because it adds a feeling of independence. Without my van, I could not be independent.
