Tom Northam for my boys

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Pip, and I am fundraising for my twin brother Tom Northam and, most importantly, fundraising for his precious children's future.
Tom has VERY recently been diagnosed with two aggressive cancers, metastatic melanoma and complex bowel cancer. Both cancers are very advanced and are difficult to cure individually let alone together. This news has been devastating and heartbreaking to all who know and love Tom. The timing is awful.
Tom is married to the lovely Erin. Together they have Alby, 2 years old and recently welcomed August to the family. Gus is just six weeks old. Erin had a rough pregnancy, going into early labour at 32 weeks. Since then, Tom has been unable to work as he has been caring for Erin and Alby. At two weeks old, Gus was airlifted to Melbourne for neonatal intensive care for RSV. Luckily he is doing well now, and the family are at home, living the busy life as a family with a toddler and newborn. However, the past six months have been tough financially and emotionally for the family. Who would have thought it could get any worse. If I could take their heartache away, I would; we all would.
Those who know Tom will know him as the 6ft 4in tall redhead who has worked at Albury Base since he was 22. Tom is a dedicated nurse. Before his diagnosis last week, he was looking forward to moving to a permanent role, allowing him to split his time between the career he is passionate about and the young family he loves. Tom is a family man at heart and has the closest bond with Alby (Alby is always helping Dad). It is the most beautiful thing to see. August is the spitting image of Tom as a baby, and we know he will grow up to be the strong man his Dad is.
Unfortunately, Tom will not be able to provide financially for his family now or in the future. Any donations will give Tom peace of mind that his children will be provided for and that Erin will not have a financial burden as she raises their two sons without her husband.
Donations will assist with covering rent, and utility bills, covering Tom's lost income whilst he is in hospital and setting his children up with financial stability via a trust fund.
With the sudden diagnosis and quick decline Tom may not have much time. He will know more as this week progresses. He is grateful for the love, support, memories, friendships and the life he has enjoyed in his 38 years. His only wish is that his boys are cared for. We appreciate any donations.
