Tom & Podge's Munster Peaks for MDI

⭐⭐ Update ⭐⭐ Due to the latest health recommendations Tom & Podge have revised their challenge in aid of Muscular Dystrophy Ireland in order to remain compliant with Level 3 restrictions. The challenge will now start with a 100km cycle from their local areas of Listowel and Mallow, meeting at the base of Knockboy Mountain and finishing the challenge at the Summit which is conveniently split in the middle by the Cork and Kerry border. Thank you to all those who have supported thus far, the response has been amazing! ⭐⭐ Tom O'Regan from Mallow County Cork & Padraig Keane from Knockanure County Kerry planned to climb the highest peaks of each county in Munster over one weekend 17th-18th of October. This challenge has now been revised to comply with level 3 restrictions. This challenge is being set to raise much needed and vital funds for Muscular Dystrophy Ireland (MDI).   Muscular Dystrophy Ireland is a voluntary organisation which was established in 1972. MDI’s primary objective is to provide support for people and their families who are living with muscular dystrophy and allied neuromuscular conditions. Tom and Padraig both have strong links with MDI having worked for MDI in the past as well as having friends who rely on MDI's important and necessary services.  They are hoping for a strong community response to raise funds for MDI especially in times of Covid were raising funds have been impacted.
