Toddlers family devastated by fire

Hi, My name is Linda. I live next door to a young couple who purchased their first home with their baby Eric who is now 17 months old. Yesterday, an electrical item in the kitchen caught fire and engulfed the entire home excluding the living room. The only item of the babies that did not get destroyed was his pram. The Family now only have the pram and the clothes they were wearing at the time. They are a hardworking young family who were working all the hours god sent to renovate their first family home which was almost complete. Mum (Emma) had to jump from the first floor window where 2 passers by had alerterd her to the fire, they also broke her fall so she could evacuate safely. Emma has been checked over and is ok. Thanfully, Baby Eric was at nursery so is oblivious to the ordeal. The fire service said this could have been an entirely different story had he been home. Dad Ed was at work. As I previously mentioned the family have only what they were wearing at the time. The family do have house insurance but we would hope that people will help to raise some money so that Emma and Ed can buy the everyday essentials for themselves and Eric whilst the insurance company do their investigations. Come on people PLEASE help a young hard working family out and give what you can afford no matter how small.
