Help Tina and her kids in this tough time

Hi my name is Shannon Mayers, and I am fundraising to help support my sister/cousin Tina Joe,

 

On the early morning of Oct 24, 2021, our dear brother/ cousin/ friend and most of all husband and Father Mike (Mikey) Nordvie suddenly passed away.

 

Mikey was truly a character. He was quite well known in the community, Always being seen around town in his house coat and his sunglasses on, wherever he went inside or outside they were on. Mikey was family man who was a good provider to his family. Mike spent a lot of his time working to always provide the best for his family and kids, either it was hockey for Rocky or fun trips for his baby Corina.

Mikey was the type of guy that would give everyone and anyone an opportunity to work, he employed many of the nation brothers..

Mikey loved to be with his children Corina, and Rocky when he was not working, Rocky is currently in a high level of hockey based program out of Penticton right now. Mike was so proud of Rocky and loved to watch him play.

 

Not only did he provide for his family him and Tina had also taken in three younger family members this past summer. This was who he was a very large heart. Tina now has five children she has to take care of on her own.

I started this because I wanted to take some of Tinas burdens away. This go fund me will help Tina continue to support her five children, three boys in hockey, and pay her bills for the next few months so she doesn't have to worry.
