To honor a life of service. Mary and Shawn Quigley

My friends Shawn Quigley and his wife Mary have dedicated their lives to helping others. They open-heartedly shared their food, their shelter; any need they could help with, animals or humans, over literally decades, though Shawn is disabled and money was tight.

Mary became very ill, requiring blood transfusions, and the Dr. suspected a rare form of blood cancer, with tests slated to determine it. Shawn dedicated himself to her care. Mary passed last Saturday, December 28th, having no life insurance.

Shawn owes $3,000.00 on his mortgage, and the bank has begun foreclosure.

Mary's cremation is $3,000.00. For a celebration of life to be included, it's $6,000.00 total just for Mary's final expenses.

Because Medicare required huge co-pays on Mary's treatments, the bills began falling behind. Shawn did everything in his power to provide Mary the treatments she needed to save her life.

I am asking for donations for Shawn, and for Mary's final expenses. No one who's lived a life of service and just lost their spouse should lose everything else. I think that's criminal.
