To Help Mccarthy family during their hospital stay

Hi guys, from all of us at The Hopkins Tribe we thank you for taking the time to read this, I know most people skip the details but if you can spare a few minutes please read!!

On Saturday 17th August an old childhood friend of Jays, Kerry, reached out to us for support and advice/reassurance due to her waters going at 21 weeks and 1 day, which if anyone that knows us and our story know it’s a story very close to our hearts, with our triplet girls being born at 22+5.

Since then she has moved from Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading, to Southmead Hospital in Bristol, which is where our girls were born, so she is in the right place, and will have an incredible team behind her at the hospital.

Obviously due to Kerry being in Bristol, which is roughly an hour and half away from their home, Kerry’s Husband Eugene will either have to travel back and forth from Reading to Bristol everyday, which will be an expense in itself, he is also self employed, which means that while he is being there to support Kerry he will be losing out on earns, which in turn puts more financial burden on the family, let alone having children at home in Reading who will need some sort of care sorted back home.

So we are asking from the bottom of our hearts, if you can spare anything even £1 to help these amazing people through a journey, that we know personally, isn’t a pleasant journey to be on without having to worry about where the next pound for hospital parking or a coffee is coming from.

I know that was a lot to read, but thank you for taking the time. Both Kerry and Baby are ok at the moment, she had a scan earlier today (21st August) and baby roughly weighs 434g roughly, which is obviously very small, so the longer Kerry can stay pregnant the better, so less stress on her is the best thing at the moment. The doctors are being positive about things at the moment, which is incredible, and obviously if anything changes we will keep you all updated!!
