I'm Matthew, a 30 year old originally from Miami, but recently moved to Broward. I recently became homeless and the little I have to hold onto is the hope that a better tomorrow awaits. I have learned that family, what used to be my biggest source of strength, is solely a term and unfortunately the love of my family is conditional on their unattainable expectations. I had a prenatal stroke, and although some activities take me a bit longer, I try my best to achieve them. Despite various attempts to satisfy what I can, their support has begun to hurt my mental health. Any and all amounts donated will go to basic needs of life: food, water and if possible, shelter. I have a Bachelor's in Spanish from FIU, and my goal is to become self-sustaining both emotionally and physically.
