Help Us Help A Vet

Wilbur "Lee" LeMasters and Wilbur Hill served on board the USS Hollandia CVE-97, known as "Old 97" during WWII.  From 1944-1946 they worked together and became friends.  Wilbur Hill turns 100 years old on September 24th.  Lee wants to travel from Toledo, Oregon to Terre Haute, Indiana to celebrate his buddy's birthday.  Due to health reasons, Lee is not able to fly so his wife will be driving them back to Wilbur's home in Indiana.  The estimated cost for this trip is between $2,000 and $3,000.  Some donations have already been received leaving the remaining goal at $2,000.  Please help us help these veterans from the Greatest Generation have one more celebration together.
