Update 9/3/17 - New goal is to provide 4 families with $500/each. Please help with the new lowered goal.
Update 9/1/17 - There are more and more families in need. My goal now is to provide 10 families with at least $1k. Some of my friends are learning that even with flood insurance their contents are not covered or the cost of hotels are not covered! Which is crazy when most of them are paying crazy high premiums. Please if I can get 1000 people to donate at least $10, we can reach that goal.
I will be withdrawing the funds and distributing to the families personally. I will also give updates on my Facebook page once that is done. I will post updated pictures/videos on here as well. If we just get to the $5k goal that will be $500/family, but I think we can be a bigger blessing and raise $10k to bless them with $1k!
Hi everyone! I, DeShaun Webster, am starting a fundraiser for my friends who were flooded out by Hurricane Harvey. Yes we had damage from the storm but insurance will pay that and we did not flood. I have close friends that lost everything! I want to help them! This money will be divided amongst 3 families that I personally know are in need at this time. $5k will not be enough but it's a start while they wait on insurance/FEMA. If we can go beyond that goal...then what a blessing! The funds will go to immediate needs such as clothing, food and housing. The image attached is of one of the families I'm helping home. The water is just a foot away from their roof, they lost everything. Please let's be a direct blessing! Thank you in advance!
