Lucky's Final Journey

Donation protected
The pet scan was "lit up like a Christmas tree," I heard my daughter tell her friend on the phone, and the reality sank in.  This time, the third time being diagnosed with breast cancer, I'm finally done.  I've been through the biopsies, and the mastectomies, and the chemotherapy and the radiation and the reconstructions and the infections and the hospitalizations and all the doctor appointments and other treatment that I care to go through.  It is my biggest desire to end my days in peace and comfort, surrounded by my family and loved ones, doing the things I love.  At this point, medical bills have sucked every single penny I have ever earned or worked for out of my bank account.  I have no job, I have no house, I have no car.  I have no credit cards or bank accounts, or piggy banks hidden under the bed.

Currently, I am concerned about paying the utilitiy bills for my little house in Phoenix, which can go over $400 a month.  Food is nice.  Transportation.  Perhaps some travel.  My final wish was always to return to Spain - - to art of Barcelona and the house that Salvadore Dali built on the coast - - Cadaques.

Any little amount you can spare will make my ending days less stressful and perhaps even magical.

"Mini pigs" to you - - till we meet again.
