More information about Cycling Without Age Weymouth. This charity is based in South Dorset and is part of a non-profit global initiative called 'Cycling Without Age'. The organisation is run by volunteers who will generally take out the elderly, people with reduced mobilty, learning disabilities and care home residents out on 'trishaw' cycle rides to feel the wind in their hair, and enjoy some of the magnificent Jurassic coastline. We hope to encourage social connection and to bring generations closer together using special trishaws (three-wheel cycles with a passenger cab out front).

Weymouth CWA now has trishaws based in Weymouth, Portland, Dorchester and Bridport, and is among the largest Cycling Without Age organisations in the world.

So there you have it. Please consider donating, or at least think of me at 11 am Christmas Day, although in fairness I have done it a couple of times already and survived.
