Tiny Angel Fund (Kennard Family)

Donation protected
A tiny angel has gained her wings. The Kennard Family: Tyler, a former Marine, Becky, big sis Taytum, and big brothers Tanner and Tucker have had much more than their fair share of trials and grief. They almost lost their youngest son Tucker, now three, at a young age due to an immune deficiency disease. They are no strangers to doctor’s offices, hospital stays, worries and stress. Tucker is now doing well but will have to endure medical treatments for the rest of his life. Despite all that, things were starting to look up. They discovered they were expecting a new baby, a girl, and were ecstatic. Around 20 weeks into her pregnancy, Becky went into early labor and began experiencing contractions and amniotic fluid leakage. Doctors scrambled to stave off labor so that the little baby, Brinley Faith, would have a chance to develop further. The family was terrified but hopeful. There were many setbacks but they met goals to hold on just one more week, then one more day, then another despite Becky being on strict bed rest, and in severe pain and discomfort. They managed to hold off labor until  23 weeks and 5 days along when Becky learned that her brother had tragically passed away while she was in the hospital.  Becky’s health necessitated an emergency c-section and they were rushed to the operating room in a tumult of emotions. Despite having been told to expect the worst, Tyler and Becky were elated when Brinley Faith Kennard was born September 14th, 1lb. 4oz. 11 1/4in long. She was perfect. Ten perfectly formed fingers, ten cute little toes, and lots of sass and spunk. Doctors said she was doing well; much better than expected, a best case scenario. Dad stayed with Brinley while Mom recovered from a difficult surgery. Within a few hours, their world came crumbling down when Brinley’s health began to decline rapidly. Unbeknownst to them, her little lungs had stopped developing at 20 weeks when the waters had ruptured and she wasn’t able to absorb any oxygen. Doctors and nurses were shocked and did everything they could, but to no avail. Tyler and Becky were blindsided by the news but were determined to make their last moments with Brinley comfortable and peaceful. They held their precious daughter, showered her with all their love, prayers, snuggles and kisses. She was a strong girl and fought hard for 4 hours before finally slipping peacefully away. She gained her wings September 15th, having lived  less than a day but loved enough for a lifetime. Tyler hasn’t left Becky’s side and the children are devastated at the loss of their baby sister. There is no way to express the tremendous loss and grief that their family is experiencing. There is no way to ease the pain or speed the healing of their broken hearts, but we can help to ease the financial burden they face. Now they have mounting medical bills from Becky and Brinley’s care on top of the bills from their youngest son’s ongoing treatments. Funeral expenses are now added to their worries. They are two of the kindest and most caring individuals and have experienced so much pain and heartbreak; more than anyone  should ever have to bear. Please help them through this difficult time. Every little bit is appreciated.
